Brand sessions are usually held on Mondays and Tuesdays, either in the studio or on location (depending on your session type).

Most clients book 3–4 weeks in advance to secure their ideal date, especially if they’re planning around a launch, rebrand, or team schedule. If you need something sooner, it’s always worth checking in, we sometimes have last-minute openings.

Once you’ve received your proposal, a 50% deposit and a signed contract, confirm your session date.

Can you hold a date for me?

Yes, if you’re finalising details, we’re happy to hold a tentative date for two business days.

Do you help plan the shoot?

Absolutely. Every portrait session includes a Creative Blueprint that helps us explore your brand, tone, and goals. This ensures your shoot feels aligned, intentional, and uniquely you.

What should I wear?

Choose outfits that feel like you but elevated, think timeless shapes, natural textures, and tones that complement your brand colours. We’ll chat through options during your Creative Blueprint so you arrive feeling confident and prepared.

Do you provide hair and makeup?

Not typically, however, we can certainly send over our suggestions of local artists we love.

Can we shoot both team and individual portraits in one session?

Yes, we’ll plan your timeline, so each person has their moment while keeping things efficient and relaxed.

Can we bring props or products?

Definitely! Props, laptops, packaging, or even small product samples can help tell your story visually. We’ll guide you on integrating them so the overall look stays cohesive. What’s the difference between an Editorial Portrait and a Signature Campaign?

Editorial Portraits focus on clean, editorial headshots. Signature Brand Sessions expand on that, with styled environments, layered setups, and storytelling details that bring your brand personality to life.

Can I change outfits or backgrounds?

Yes. We’ll plan these transitions during your Blueprint so the shoot flows naturally. Small styling tweaks and background changes are built into the schedule.

Who will be there?

Lauren leads every session, with assistance from the studio team where needed. You’re welcome to bring a brand manager, stylist, or PR rep, just let us know ahead of time so we can keep the space running smoothly.

Do you give directions during the shoot?

Absolutely. Most people aren’t used to being in front of a camera, so we’ll guide you through posing, expression, and angles in a way that feels natural and relaxed.

What if I feel awkward in photos?

You’re not alone! We create an easy, conversational environment so you can focus on being yourself. It’s less about posing, more about capturing genuine moments that reflect your brand and personality.

When will I receive my images?

Your selections gallery is sent within 7 business days, and once you’ve made your selections, your final retouched images are delivered within another 7 business days.

How do I choose my images?

You’ll receive a private online proofing gallery where you can easily mark your favourites for final retouching and delivery, along with any specific edit notes.

Can I purchase extra images?

Of course! Additional portraits can be licensed. We’ll confirm pricing before you make any extra selections.

How can I use my photos?

All sessions include standard digital marketing usage, meaning you can use your images across your website, email marketing, and social media. If you need extended licensing for paid print advertising, third-party advertising, or any marketing outside of your own platform, we can add that on at any time.
