RAPID SESSIONS ADELAIDE

YOUR HEADSHOTS AND BRAND CONTENT SORTED BY SATURDAY.

30-minute photo sessions held every Friday in our Adelaide Hills studio, with your full gallery delivered within 24 hours.

You probably didn’t wake up this morning thinking...

“You know what I’d love to do? Book a photoshoot.”

More likely, you’re smack bang in the middle of building something. A new website, a new service or the next version of your business.

Then it hits. Shit! Now I need some photos of myself.

So you scroll through your camera roll and realise your usual headshots are well and truly overused, and using a shot from your last night out is probably not the solution.

Thankfully, there is a quick and easy way to fix that problem: book a Rapid Session.

You’ll receive a fresh gallery of professional images in your inbox within 24 hours.

EVERYTHING INCLUDED IN YOUR RAPID SESSION.

$250 + GST

"LAUREN MADE ME FEEL INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE FROM THE MOMENT WE STARTED.

I genuinely felt like I could’ve talked to her for hours about business and beyond. She truly understood my vision, and the content she produced for my small business was exactly what I was hoping for.

The final images exceeded my expectations, and the whole experience felt thoughtful, professional and really aligned with who I am and what I wanted to gain from the session.”

I hear this all the time.

You might hate having your photograph taken, have no idea how to pose or worry that you will look uncomfortable. You may even be convinced that you will be the most awkward person I have ever photographed.

Spoiler: you won’t be.

Feeling uncomfortable is completely normal, especially when the photos are connected to something as personal as your own business.

You won’t be left standing in silence while I point a camera at you and wait for something magical to happen. There’s something you should know about me: I’m a chatterbox and will happily talk your ear off if you let me.

The goal isn’t to force you into stiff poses that feel nothing like you. It’s to give you enough direction that you can stop thinking about my camera quite so much.

By the end, most people say some version of the same thing: “that was actually Fun.”

In Good Company is a place to meet some of the people building businesses around Adelaide.

You just never know who you might meet.

Hi, I’m Lauren, and welcome to my studio.

I’ve been behind the camera for over 15 years and have been building Mindful Creatives since 2019.

By this point in my career, I feel like I have photographed almost everything. My biggest takeaway is that learning how to operate a camera is one thing, but the real experience comes from years spent shooting in different environments, under different pressures and with all kinds of people.

That experience has taught me how strange and uncomfortable it can feel to stand in front of a camera, and how to help people settle in and feel at ease.

Most people arrive at my studio feeling nervous and unsure of what to expect. One of my favourite parts of a session is watching someone walk in feeling apprehensive and leave saying, “Oh, that was actually fun and not scary at all.”

Happy days!

MINdFUL CREATIVES STUDIO

Mindful Creatives Studio is in Meadows, The Adelaide Hills, about 45 minutes from the Adelaide CBD.

I have built the studio to be a warm, lived-in lifestyle space that features warm textures, furniture, backdrops, and different living-area setups we can use throughout your session.

You’ll find the studio at Unit 4A, 59 Mawson Road, Meadows, behind the chemist and medical centre. There is free parking directly outside, so you won’t need to do three laps of the block before your session.

Frequently asked questions.

What if I hate having my photo taken?

You’ll be in very good company. Most people who book don’t feel completely comfortable in front of the camera.

I’ll guide you from the moment we begin, so you won’t be left wondering what to do or how to pose.

Do I need to know how to pose?

Absolutely not.

Most of the people I photograph aren’t used to being in front of a camera. I’ll guide you through where to stand, how to move and where to look as we go.

What should I wear?

The main thing is to choose something you would genuinely wear in your business.

You don't need to dress up as a completely different version of yourself just because you're having photos taken.

What should I bring?

Bring any outfits, business tools or simple props that make sense for the photographs you need.

Can I change outfits?

Absolutely, I encourage it. Just keep in mind that we only have 30 minutes together, so if you plan to change looks, keep the swaps as easy as possible.

How many photos will I receive?

You’ll receive all the successful images from your session, and the final number varies for everyone. It really comes down to how prepared you are before your session and how many people are involved.

Are the photos edited?

Your full gallery of successful images will be delivered unedited within 24 hours.

You can add image editing if you would like selected favourites individually refined. Pricing for this is sent through with your gallery link.

Can I bring another person?

Yes. You can add 1 person to your session for an additional $ 50 + GST.

Can I bring products?

You can bring a product if it helps tell the story of you and your business.

For example, a florist might bring flowers, a candle maker might hold one of their candles, or a designer might bring the tools they work with.

Rapid Sessions are still focused on the person.

If you need e-commerce images, dedicated product photography or a larger commercial project, you’ll need to book Product Photography instead.

Can I choose the studio setup?

Yes. You can use the furniture, backdrops and different areas available in the studio during your session.

I don’t pre-set up the studio specifically for Rapid sessions, but we can move anything around once you arrive. Just keep in mind that we have 30 minutes, and any set building must be done within that time.

What can I use my photos for?

Your photographs include a standard license for use across your own business channels.

This includes your website, email marketing, organic social media, proposals, earned public relations and business-owned printed materials.

You may need an additional license if the photographs are being used by another organisation, included in a third-party campaign, resold or used for paid advertising beyond your owned or managed channels.

How far ahead can I book?

Rapid Sessions are held on Fridays, and appointments open up to 90 days in advance.

What happens if I need to reschedule?

Full payment is taken when you book.

You can reschedule your session at no extra fee when you provide more than 7 days’ notice.

If you need to reschedule within 72 hours of your appointment, please contact us directly. We will do our best to accommodate you.

Bookings cancelled within 72 hours and not rescheduled are non-refundable and non-transferable.

You’ll see the full rescheduling and cancellation terms before completing your booking.

One less thing on your to-do list.

You don’t need to know how to pose, and you don’t need to wait until your business feels more established.

Come into the studio, and I’ll guide you through the rest.

Your full gallery of successful, unedited images will be in your inbox within 24 hours.
