Every Friday, people from all kinds of Adelaide businesses come through my studio for one of my weekly mini brand sessions, known as Rapid Sessions.

One of my favourite parts of Rapid Sessions is getting to know the people behind those businesses. Hearing how they got started, what they’re creating and what keeps them going. The little things you don’t always see from the outside.

And if you’re anything like me, the second you start chatting with another business owner, there’s an instant feeling of, “You get it.”

We’re all friends here, and we can admit that building a business is not always easy. In fact, it’s probably one of the hardest things you can do. A lot of us are making our way through the day feeling isolated, wondering whether we’re doing any of it right or whether we’ve completely lost the plot.

And it’s not until we get chatting with other business owners that we realise we’re actually doing better than we give ourselves credit for.
