Product Photography – Creative Campaign Case Study

Summons the Genie product photography pushed the boundaries of visual storytelling. This project involved creating a bold, feminine, and curiosity-driven gallery for a brand seeking to redefine how its category is represented. The challenge was to design a world that felt unique, approachable, and unlike anything seen before, enticing viewers to lean in with curiosity.

Creative Direction: Summons the Genie Product Photography

For the Summons the Genie product photography, I worked as both photographer and creative director. The vision was to weave feminine energy into each frame, using bold styling, layered textures, and evocative props. Rather than playing it safe, the imagery invited audiences into a world that celebrated the product with confidence and intrigue.

The shoot required the creation of otherworldly sets that felt bold yet welcoming. Through lighting, colour palettes, and intentional set design, I shaped an atmosphere that sparked curiosity while staying true to the brand’s approachable personality. Transitioning between striking tones and softer details helped balance strength with warmth.

Execution & Visual Strategy

To bring this vision to life, the gallery included:

  • Bold styling choices to emphasise originality and confidence
  • Feminine touches that softened and balanced the visual story
  • Set design elements that created a world outside of everyday reality
  • Campaign-ready compositions with space for text overlays and versatile marketing use

This combination of creative direction and technical precision gave the brand imagery that was both imaginative and highly usable across campaigns.

Results & Brand Impact

As a result, Summons the Genie received a distinctive gallery of campaign-ready visuals that positioned the brand as bold, modern, and inviting. The imagery captured attention, created intrigue, and set a new standard for how the product category could be portrayed.

This case study highlights how creative direction and imaginative set design can transform a product into a story that connects with audiences on a deeper level.
